Linear-Cutting

The Cutter's Mate Linear Scoring Module is an add-on to their Cutter's Mate Mini (sold separately). When mounted to the Cutter's Mate Mini, the Linear Scoring Module makes cutting glass strips easy.

It's easy to use! Simply follow these steps:

  1. Secure the Aluminum Ruler horizontally to the Waffle grid, using the square peg and round ruler stabilizer.
  2. Plug in the clear Straight Edge vertically at the zero-mark of the Ruler, and secure with the thumbscrews.
  3. Align the cutting head with the ruler, using the RED thumbscrew.
  4. Set the Cutter Stop (included) in place, to protect the ruler from the cutting head.
  5. Install the Friction Button bumper in place, and add a little cutting oil to dip the cutting head into as you cut.

To cut strips fast, simply:

  • Slide the glass to the right (along the aluminum ruler),
  • Line-up the glass edge with the ruler, and
  • Make your cut along the straight edge.

Repeat as needed. There's even a Friction Button included to hold some cutting oil at just the right spot, so you don't have to slow down. It's fast!

The Linear Scoring Module includes:

  • 8-inch (20 cm) Aluminum Ruler, marked in inches, with square mounting peg and round stabilizer,
  • 13-inch (33 cm) Clear Lexan Straight Edge, with mounting thumbscrews,
  • Cutter Stop (protects the ruler),
  • Friction Button (holds cutting oil for dipping),
  • Details Instructions with illustrations.
